WE with Kaga-san and Chika-san

On Saturday, Kaga-san, a new employee in Hitachi living in the same dorm as Anh-Thi and me proposed to show us a “pudding museum”!
Yes, a pudding museum! At first, I thought we didn’t understand what was the museum about, but sure we were pleased to join him and his friend, Chika-san.

After a 2 hours long trip by car (Kaga-san’s car) to go to Ikebukuro (north part of Tokyo, it took long time I don’t know why coz it takes 40 minutes by train…), we finally arrived at the… pudding museum! That’s an theme amusement park for kids like all the amusement parks in Europe, except it’s not only for kids in Japan.
Girls are especially enjoying it, from 15 to 25 years old… as if they were 12 years old in European age (which is quite different as the Japanese age…).

We ate some crazy “pudding based” meals, like the “ramen pudding” or the “oppai pudding” which is a pudding representing boobs…

After this special museum, we decided to head to Akihabara, which is the electronic and otaku town of Tokyo. Chika-san, who lives near Yokohama had never been there and Kaga-san who is from Osaka neither. So we went to this special place… which is really special…

Imagine young girls (or at least who look pretty young…) dressed up as maids, greeting you from the exit of the train station to go to their “Maid Café”… in the middle of otaku people, electronic stuff and lights everywhere…

We went to the Akihabara Don Quijote which is a kind of mall with only fancy stuff like dress, accessories, even a maid cafe inside the shop. We spent most of our time in this shop with so many weird products…

It was a great weekend in another side (the dark side??) of Japan!
